Quick Volume Privacy Policy

Quick Volume Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 18, 2026. This policy covers Quick Volume for Android, published by Mindware Consulting, Inc. (package mindware.volwidget), including the free app and its permanent ad-free unlock.

What the app does on your device

Quick Volume reads current volume levels and changes the sound settings you select. Your profiles, profile names, appearance preference and selected profile are stored on your device. We do not operate an account system or upload your sound settings or profiles to our servers. The app does not record audio or request microphone, contacts, camera or location permission. It does not read messages or notification contents.

Silent mode can require optional Android Do Not Disturb access. Android asks you to grant this access in system settings. You can revoke it there at any time. The app uses this access only to make sound-mode changes you request. Profiles leave alarm and call volume unchanged.

Ads and consent

The free app uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Ads appear inside the app. Widgets and the Quick Settings tile do not contain ads. Before requesting ads, the app checks Google’s consent status and presents a consent message where required. When applicable, you can revisit Ad privacy choices in the app’s Settings. You can also manage or reset your Android advertising identifier through your device settings.

Google’s advertising SDK may collect and share device or other identifiers (including advertising identifiers and app-set identifiers), IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, app interactions and advertising events, crash logs, diagnostics and performance information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance. The precise data and processing depend on your device, consent choices, location and Google’s services. Consent choices may result in personalized, non-personalized or limited ads, or no ad being served.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services. We do not add a separate analytics or crash-reporting service to Quick Volume.

Permanent ad-free purchase

Google Play processes the optional one-time purchase. We do not receive or store your payment-card information. The app receives purchase status and a signed purchase record from Google Play to verify your entitlement, acknowledge the purchase, restore it and respond to refunds or revocations. A verified purchase record is cached on your device so an existing unlock can work offline. The purchase is not a subscription. The app stops requesting or displaying ads when a completed purchase has been verified. Refunds and account changes are checked when Google Play is available.

Optional ratings and reviews

The app stores a small set of usage counters and dates on your device to avoid asking for a review too early or too often. These counters and review reminder choices are not sent to us and are excluded from Android backup. After repeated use, Google Play may offer its optional review form. You can also open the Google Play listing from Rate Quick Volume in Settings. Google Play handles any rating or review you choose to submit. The app does not receive your rating, review text or a signal that you submitted a review, and sound features or purchases do not depend on leaving a review. Google may publish your review with your Google profile information or share test-track feedback privately with the developer, according to its policies. You can manage or delete your review in Google Play or your Google account.

Backup, retention and deletion

Your device may back up profiles and appearance settings through Android backup or device transfer, according to your Android and Google account settings. We exclude the purchase cache from that backup. Local app data remains until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it; an Android backup may restore saved preferences when you reinstall. Manage or delete device backups in your Google account or device settings. Google controls retention and deletion for advertising and purchase information it processes. Removing local app data does not cancel a completed Google Play purchase.

Support and your choices

If you contact [email protected], we receive the email address and information you choose to send. We use it to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid sending payment details or other sensitive information. You can contact us with privacy questions, access or deletion requests concerning information you have sent to us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Security and service providers

The app uses encrypted connections for Google services and does not permit cleartext network traffic. Local information is protected by Android’s application storage controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Google may process information in countries other than your own under its published privacy terms.

Children

Quick Volume is a general-purpose utility intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or its services. We will update the effective date on this page. Contact Mindware Consulting, Inc. at [email protected] or visit mindware.mobi.
